    2021 Kia Sorento recalled

    Kia's seven-seat Sorento SUV has been recalled to fix a problem with its fuel line hose clamp. A total of 630 cars are affected.

    Kia Australia has recalled the 2021 Sorento to fix a problem with the fuel pump.

    According to the company, “fuel may leak from the low pressure fuel line hose clamp”.

    “A fuel leak may result in an engine fire, increasing the risk of an accident and injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”

    • A total of 630 vehicles are included in the recall.
    • Affected vehicles were sold between August 1 and September 30, 2020.

    Kia Australia will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
