The Jaguar F-Pace, the brand’s largest SUV (for now), has been treated to a substantial refresh for 2021.

    There’s a new, more upscale interior, Jaguar Land Rover’s new Pivi Pro infotainment system, and new inline six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.

    The base price has been reduced by almost $2000 while the range has been pared back to just six models, down from 17.

    Prices range from $74,990 before on-road costs for the R-Dynamic S P250 to $141,040 before on-roads for the SVR.

    Engines

    The 2021 Jaguar F-Pace range is available with four different engines.

    P250 models use a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 184kW of power and 365Nm of torque. It has a claimed 0-100km/h time of 7.3 seconds.

    The D300 uses a 3.0-litre inline-six turbo-diesel producing 221kW of power and 650Nm of torque. It uses a 48V mild-hybrid system and has a claimed 0-100km/h time of 6.4 seconds.

    The P400 uses a 3.0-litre inline-six petrol engine with an electric supercharger, twin-scroll turbocharger and 48V mild-hybrid system. Total output is 294kW of power and 550Nm of torque, while 0-100km/h takes just 5.4 seconds.

    The range-topping SVR has a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine producing 405kW of power and 700Nm of torque. It has a 0-100km/h time of 4.0 seconds.

    All F-Pace models use an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

    Fuel Economy

    The 2021 Jaguar F-Pace has a combined fuel economy of 7.4L/100km in the P250. Official fuel figures for the rest of the range haven’t been announced.

    All petrol models require 95RON premium unleaded fuel.

    Dimensions

    The 2021 Jaguar F-Pace measures 4747mm long, 1664mm tall and 2175mm wide (2071mm excluding the mirrors), riding a 2874mm long wheelbase.

    The SVR’s measurements differ slightly: it’s 4762mm long, 1670mm tall and 2175mm wide (2071mm excluding the mirrors).

    The F-Pace has 755L of cargo volume (wet) behind the second row, expanding to 1804L with it folded.

    Servicing

    Jaguar offers service plans across the F-Pace range, covering it for five years or 130,000, whichever comes first. These plans cost $1950 with the P250, $2650 with the D300, and $3750 with the SVR. Prices for the P400 have yet to be announced, though last year’s supercharged petrol V6 cost $2250.

    All F-Paces are covered by a three-year, 100,000km warranty.

    Safety

    The Jaguar F-Pace has a five-star ANCAP safety rating, based on testing conducted in 2017. It received scores of 93 per cent for adult occupant protection, 85 per cent for child occupant protection, 80 per cent for pedestrian protection and 72 per cent for safety assist.

    All 2021 Jaguar F-Pace models come standard with the following safety features:

    The Convenience Pack, which costs $1560 in the S and $880 in the SE and HSE, adds:

    The $1460 Cold Climate Pack adds:

    The $2720 Hot Climate Pack adds:

    The Premium Upgrade Interior Pack costs $4890 in the S, $4690 in the SE and isn’t available in the HSE. It adds:

    The Technology Pack costs $3160 in the S and $2480 in the SE and HSE and adds:
