The 2020 Suzuki Vitara is available in two different trim levels with prices ranging from $22,990 before on-road costs for the base Vitara 1.6 manual to $34,490 before on-road costs for the Vitara Turbo AWD auto.

    Though it’s shorter than a Toyota C-HR, the Vitara is currently Suzuki’s largest SUV. Unlike past Vitara models, the current model is a crossover SUV and isn’t designed for bush-bashing.

    The 2020 Suzuki Vitara is available with two engines.

    The base Vitara uses a naturally-aspirated 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine producing 86kW and 156Nm. It’s mated to a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

    The Vitara Turbo uses a turbocharged 1.4-litre four-cylinder engine producing 103kW and 220Nm. It’s mated exclusively to a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, though it offers the choice of front- or all-wheel drive.

    When equipped with the 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine, the 2020 Suzuki Vitara consumes 5.8L/100km on the combined cycle with the manual transmission and 6.0L/100km with the CVT.

    It runs on 91RON regular unleaded fuel.

    The Vitara Turbo consumes 5.9L/100km on the combined cycle with front-wheel-drive and 6.2L/100km with all-wheel drive.

    This engine requires 95RON premium unleaded fuel.
