    Suzuki’s cheapest car is available with only one engine across two trim levels. Pricing kicks off at $15,990 before on-road costs.

    The 2020 Suzuki Baleno is available in two different trim levels with prices ranging from $15,990 before on-road costs for the base Baleno GL manual to $18,990 for the Baleno GLX auto.

    Though it’s larger than the Swift and Ignis, the Baleno has a lower base price. Rivals include the Kia Rio and Honda Jazz.

    The 2020 Suzuki Baleno is available exclusively with a naturally-aspirated 1.4-litre four-cylinder engine producing 68kW and 130Nm.

    It’s mated to either a five-speed manual transmission in the GL or a four-speed automatic transmission in the GL and GLX.

    Fuel Economy

    The 2020 Suzuki Baleno consumes 5.1L/100km on the combined cycle with the manual transmission and 5.4L/100km with the automatic.

    It runs on 91RON regular unleaded fuel.
