The Mercedes-Benz GLE has been recalled over concerns incorrect bonding of the dashboard may cause the front passenger airbag to deploy incorrectly in the event of an accident.
A total of eight units are affected by this notice, all of which are 2020 model-year (MY20) vehicles.
“In the event of an accident, the front passenger airbag may not deploy correctly, increasing the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants,” Mercedes-Benz Australia says in its recall notice.
