The 2020 Ford Endura is available in three different trim levels, each available with both front- and all-wheel-drive.
The base Trend starts at $44,990 before on-road costs with front-wheel drive, while the Titanium is $67,990 before on-road costs with all-wheel drive.
The Ford Endura is built in Canada where it’s known as the Edge. It serves as a quasi-replacement for the locally-built Territory, as does the more rugged, ladder-frame, seven-passenger Everest.
Unlike other SUVs targeted at the American market, like the Nissan Pathfinder and Toyota Kluger, it isn’t available with a third row of seating. It has few direct rivals except, arguably, rear-wheel drive versions of the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Engines
The 2020 Ford Endura comes with only one engine: a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder producing 140kW and 400Nm.
It’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and is available with either front- or all-wheel drive.
Though petrol engines are available in the North American-market Ford Edge, they’re not offered here.
Fuel Economy
The 2020 Ford Endura consumes 6.7L/100km on the combined cycle, regardless of whether it’s equipped with front- or all-wheel drive.
Dimensions
The 2020 Ford Endura measures 4834mm long, 1733mm tall (including roof rails and antenna) and 1928mm wide.
The Ford Endura’s total luggage space is 800L, increasing to 1847L with the rear seats folded.
Safety
When the Ford Endura was tested by ANCAP in 2016, it received a rating of five stars.
That rating was based on an adult occupant protection score of 85 per cent, child occupant protection of 76 per cent, pedestrian protection of 67 per cent and safety assist of 89 per cent.
All 2020 Ford Endura models come standard with autonomous emergency braking with forward-collision warning, as well as lane-keeping assist, anti-lock brakes, and front, front-side and curtain airbags. They also feature a driver’s knee airbag.
Endura Titanium models add blind-spot monitoring.
