Ateco Australia has recalled the 2020-2021 LDV Deliver 9 van to fix a problem with its rear brake pipe.

A manufacturing defect means the rear brake pipe might leak brake fluid.

“If the rear brake pipe leaks, this may result in a loss of braking performance, which can increase the risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users,” the recall notice says.

    • A total of 535 cars are included in the recall
    • Affected vehicles were sold between 15 July, 2019 and 1 February, 2021
    • A VIN list of affected vehicles is attached here
    • The original recall notice is attached here

Ateco Australia will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
