Ferrari Australasia has recalled the 812 Superfast to fix a fault with the rear window.

“Incorrect bonding of the rear window may lead to decreased adhesion of the rear window to the rear hood,” Ferrari says in its recall notice.

“The rear window glass may fully detach from vehicle, become airborne or fall on to the road, increasing the risk of serious injury or death of other road users.”

    • A total of 140 cars are included in the recall.
    • Affected cars were sold between July 27, 2017 and June 25, 2020.
    • A VIN list of affected vehicles is attached here.
    • The original recall notice is attached here.

Ferrari is advising owners to contact their nearest dealer for a free fix.
