BMW M boss wants more special models, M2 CSL on the table
BMW M is looking at more special edition models – and the legendary CSL badge could make a comeback.

Last updated Dec 18, 2024The 2020 BMW M2 is classified as a 2 Door Coupe which was previously on sale in Australia as part of the F87 MY19 generation, starting from $69,200 MLRP for the COMPETITION PURE and topping out at $116,100 for the CS.
There are 11 variants available for our market and the current year model went on sale in January of 2020. The M2 is built in Germany and is available with Twin Turbo Direct Fuel Injection , equipped with a 6 Speed Manual transmission with the drive sent to rear-wheel-drive.
Other powertrain options include:
- Twin Turbo Direct Fuel Injection, equipped with a 7 Speed Auto Dual Clutch transmission with the drive sent to rear-wheel-drive
- Twin Turbo Direct Fuel Injection, equipped with a 6 Speed Manual transmission with the drive sent to rear-wheel-drive
- Turbo Direct Fuel Injection, equipped with a 6 Speed Manual transmission with the drive sent to rear-wheel-drive
- Turbo Direct Fuel Injection, equipped with a 7 Speed Auto Dual Clutch transmission with the drive sent to rear-wheel-drive
The M2 is offered with a 3 year, unlimited kilometre warranty.
