BMW, Mini and Alpina recall: Almost 27,000 vehicles affected
A brake system fault is impacting nearly 27,000 BMWs, Minis and Alpinas in Australia, leading to a recall of at least a dozen model lines.

Alpina is based in Buchloe, Germany and manufacturs high-performance versions of BMW vehicles with a grand touring bent.
Compared to the equivalent BMW or BMW M car, Alpina vehicles are focused on delivering high-end luxury appointments and effortless acceleration through torquey and smooth-shifting ZF automatic transmissions with Alpina-specific button shifters in place of paddles.
In Australia, Alpina sells the 4 Series-based B4 Gran Coupe, the 8 Series-based B8 Gran Coupe, the X3-based XD3 and the X7-based XB7.
