Audi Q5 Sportback: No 50 TDI for now despite strong diesel sales forecast
Audi Australia has opted not to give the regular Q5 Sportback a 50 TDI V6 turbo-diesel option to slot under the SQ5 TDI like the regular Q5.

There are 4 variants of the SQ5 available in Australia and this generation went on sale in January of 2021.
Engine options include 3.0L turbo diesel hybrid (251kW/700Nm), 3.0L turbo diesel (255kW/700Nm), 3.0L turbo petrol (260kW/500Nm) and 3.0L turbo diesel hybrid (251kW/700Nm). All variants feature 8 speed automatic tiptronic transmission. All variants feature all-wheel drive.
The 2021 SQ5 was offered with a 3 year, unlimited kilometre warranty.
