About the Peugeot 408
Last updated Dec 18, 2024The new Peugeot 408 is a medium-sized car offered in a 5D hatchback body style. Available in Australia from $57,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the GT variant and topping out at $67,990 for the GT.
There is 1 variant of the 408 available in Australia and this generation went on sale in December of 2024.
Engine options include 1.2L turbo gasoline direct injection & multi-point (100kW/230Nm) and electric motor (165kW/360Nm). Non-electric variants are available with 6-speed automatic or 8-speed automatic transmissions. All variants feature front-wheel drive.
The new 2025 408 is offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
