Tesla Motors Australia is recalling a total of 2799 examples of its Model 3 sedan as the speed of the vehicle may not be displayed properly when the car is in Track Mode.
This recall affects Model 3 Performance variants sold between 2018 and 2022.
“Due to a software issue the vehicle, when operated in Track Mode, does not display the Unit of speed (kph or mph) correctly,” says the company in its recall notice.
“As a result the driver may not adequately be able to determine the speed of the vehicle.”
