Jaguar Land Rover has recalled 206 examples of its 2020-2022 Range Rover due to an issue with the rear tail lamp wiring harness.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the rear tail lamps wiring harness may become lodged between the vehicle body and a foam block. If this occurs, the rear tail lamp may not illuminate as intended,” the brand says in its recall notice.
“If the rear tail lamp does not operate as intended during dark conditions, the traffic behind will have reduced visibility and may not be able to identify the vehicle.
“This could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”

Owners of the affected vehicles will be contacted by Jaguar Land Rover Australia. Customers will need to make an appointment with their preferred authorised dealership to have the work carried out free of charge.
