Jaguar Land Rover has recalled the 2023 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport to fix a problem with the headlights.
“Due to a software issue, the headlamps may not operate as intended. This may result in a loss of headlights, front position lamps, daytime running lights and direction indicator functions leading to reduced or poor visibility,” the recall notice says.
“Reduced or poor visibility may affect the night vision of the driver, increasing the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.
“Affected vehicles are not compliant with the Australian Design Rule ADR 46/00 – Headlamps.”
Jaguar Land Rover will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to visit their nearest dealer for a free fix.
