Rural Fire Brigade members had a busy few hours earlier this week, recovering two hot hatchbacks which had rolled in separate incidents within the Royal National Park.
In a post on Facebook, the Otford Rural Fire Brigade uploaded images of the two incidents to the north of Wollongong – the first involving a Toyota GR Corolla, the second taking place that evening in an Audi S3.
Both vehicles crashed on Lady Wakehurst Drive, a popular road for performance car enthusiasts due to its sweeping curves.

According to the post, both vehicles had been travelling northbound on the road when the respective incidents occurred.
In both incidents, the cars crossed into the oncoming lane and hit the embankment, causing them to flip.
In each case, the fire crews provided fire protection and assisted with cleaning up the site after the cars were recovered by tow trucks.
