The 2019-20 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, E-Class, and GLC have been recalled to fix a problem with the turbocharger’s oil lines.
According to the company, the screws for the turbocharger oil feed and oil return lines mightn’t have been correctly tensioned during assembly.
If the screws are loose, oil could leak. If leaking oil comes into contact with hot components, there’s a risk of fire.
Mercedes-Benz will contact owners and advise them to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
