Renault Group’s new sub-brand, Mobilize, has revealed the all-electric Limo in a joint venture with Jiangling Motors.
It’ll make its debut at the Munich motor show in September.
Starting in the second half of 2022, Mobilize will offer the Limo to businesses in Europe and will provide charging, maintenance and warranty for the vehicles.
The Mobilize brand will play host to a range of all-electric vehicles created exclusively for private hire, taxis and fleet use.
The Limo will be the first model for the brand, and will be joined later by the Bento, Duo and Hippo models.
It’ll only be available to access through a specific app, with drivers having to schedule a booking.
This app offers features to set the climate control and lock/unlock the car.
Mobilize has no plans to offer this vehicle to private buyers at this stage.
Measuring at 4.67m long, 1.83m wide and 1.47mm high, the Limo has a high-riding presence with a coupe-style roofline, similar to the Polestar 2.
It is powered by a 60kWh lithium ion battery mated to a single electric motor that creates 110kW of power and 220Nm of torque.
This will send the Limo from 0-100 km/h in 9.6 seconds to a limited top speed of 140 km/h.
It has a claimed range of 450km and supports both AC and DC charging.
Mobilize says that, using a DC fast charger, a 40 minute charge can provide for a range of up to 240km.
The exterior of the Limo features flush door handles, 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights.
It’s limited to three exterior colours, which are Metallic Black, Metallic Grey and Glossy White.
The interior has been designed to maximise comfort and practicality for passengers.
There are two USB slots, rear air vents, reading lights and a volume control knob at the fingertips of rear passengers.
This is helped by a flat floor that allows three passengers to sit comfortably.
The driver is not left out though, as they have access to a fridge between the front seats as well as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment display, plus ambient lighting.
The boot space of the Limo is measured at 411L.
On the safety front, there are eight airbags, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert and autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection.
