Mercedes-Benz Australia is recalling 19 examples of its E-Class due to an issue with the timing chain which may cause it to prematurely wear and break.
This recall affects E220d models produced from 2016 to 2018.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the timing chain may wear prematurely and break,” says the company in its recall notice.
“As a result the vehicle may experience a sudden loss of power.”
