Mercedes-Benz Australia is recalling 326 examples of its entry-level A-Class due to a manufacturing that may cause the transmission oil level to either be too high or too low.
This recall affects A-Class variants that were produced in 2019.
“Due to a manufacturing issue, the volume of transmission oil in vehicles may be too high or too low,” said the company in its recall notice.
“Incorrect levels of transmission oil could result in the vehicle stalling. If the oil level is too high, oil may leak and cause a fire.”
