McLaren is recalling 18 examples of the Artura sports car to fix an issue that could result in a vehicle fire.
This recall affects Artura models produced between 2022 and 2023.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the low pressure fuel pipe assembly may detach,” said the company in its recall notice.
“If this occurs, fuel may leak in the presence of an external ignition source resulting in a vehicle fire.”
If you own an affected vehicle, McLaren will contact you in writing requesting you to make an appointment at an authorised McLaren dealer to have the rectification work carried out, free of charge.
If you have further questions you can contact McLaren Client Service on +44 (0) 1483 357 900.
