This is the last Lamborghini Huracan, so the Italian marque claims.
Though we thought the Lamborghini Huracan STO SC 10° Anniversario was going to be the swan song for the decade-old model, the carmaker has revealed yet another version of the supercar – claimed to be the absolute last-of edition.
The Lamborghini Huracan STJ is based on the rear-wheel drive STO, but features motorsport-inspired elements as a tribute to the Super Trofeo one-make racing series, as well as the long-gone Appendix J – or Jota – racing regulations.
It appears a number of changes from the SC 10° Anniversario track-only model have made their way into the Huracan STJ, such as a larger front splitter, additional front bumper canards and a repositioned rear wing for 10 per cent greater downforce.
Adjustable racing-derived shock absorbers sit behind 20-inch centre-lock wheels, shod in Bridgestone Potenza race tyres.
While there’s no additional power or torque from the 5.2-litre V10 engine – remaining at 470kW and 565Nm respectively – Lamborghini claims the Huracan STJ was able to lap its Nardo handling circuit a full second faster than the base STO.
Just two colour combinations are offered: the first pairs Grigio Telesto bodywork with a Nero Noctis roof and Rosso Mars/Bianco Isi exterior details, while the cabin features Nero Cosmus Alcantara seats with leather inserts and Rosso Alala contrast stitching.
Blu Eliadi is also available as the main exterior finish.
Inside each example of the Huracan STJ is a numbered plaque displaying which of the 10 examples the supercar is.
Lamborghini hasn’t disclosed overseas pricing information for the Huracan STJ, though this is likely a case of if you have to ask, it’s not for you.
As previously reported, the as-yet unnamed successor to the Huracan is due to be revealed by 2025.
Videos of the upcoming supercar haven’t been clear as to whether it will retain a V10 engine or go for a twin-turbo V8, though we do know a plug-in hybrid system will work alongside the petrol powerplant.
