Kia is recalling 7637 examples of its Carnival people mover due to a software issue that may activate the opposite turn signal.
This recall affects YP-generation Carnival models sold from 2014 to 2016.
“Due to a software issue with the Smart Junction Box (SJB) the turn signal may activate in the opposite direction of what the driver had intended,” the company said in its recall notice.
“If the turn signal does not operate as intended, it could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”
