Jaguar has built its final combustion engined sports car, a striking V8-powered F-Type convertible, 50 years to the day after the last E-type drove off the production line.
Jaguar confirmed the end of F-Type production by sharing details of the final example to leave the factory in Castle Bromwich, a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 convertible in Giola Green with a black roof and a Tan Windsor leather interior.
It marks the end of the F-Type’s 11-year production run, which started in 2013 and culminated in 87,731 examples of the E-Type’s spiritual successor being built.
The model will continue to be sold overseas until early 2025 – including the limited edition F-Type ZP Edition coupe, 24 of which are bound for Australia – ahead of the British marque’s its transition to electrification in 2025.
Both the final F-Type and E-Type cars now fall under the custodianship of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (JDHT).

“Today, as we celebrate F-TYPE and our 75-year history of innovative Jaguar sports cars, we are also looking forward to the beginning of a new era.
“We will reimagine and elevate the Jaguar brand that will be focused on growing client intimacy and engagement, underpinned by our purpose to inspire like no other.”
Jaguar’s final E-Type
Jaguar’s revised all-electric lineup will be spearheaded by a four-door GT car, which is set to be unveiled next year.
Until then, Australian fans of the brand will have the opportunity to fork out $373,547 before on-road costs for the ZP Edition F-Type.
Australia will receive 12 coupes finished in Oulton Blue Gloss paint and 12 coupes in Crystal Grey Gloss.
The ZP Edition features a raft of “specially curated” interior and exterior details by Jaguar’s SV Bespoke arm.
All ZP Edition models use the F-Type R’s supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine, which produces 423kW of power and 700Nm of torque, and is mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
