When you think of classic muscle cars, the 1969 Dodge Charger is likely one of the first models that comes to mind.

With the popularity of these classic vehicles on the rise, it’s no surprise people are finding creative ways to bring the classic look into the modern era. This is exactly what DJ Funkmaster Flex had in mind when he commissioned a new Dodge Challenger Hellcat to be built with the body of a 1969 Charger.
The build was completed by New York City shop Valanca Auto Concepts, who took the powerful Hellcat platform and gave it a retro look with custom carbon fibre bodywork.
The track was widened by four inches and the roofline was lowered by two inches, creating a more aggressive stance and a classic muscle car look.
To complete the Pro-Touring look, the Charger was fitted with Boze alloy wheels and upgraded Baer brakes with six-piston calipers at all four corners, and a Magnaflow exhaust was added for an even more aggressive exhaust note.
The interior of the car was refreshed by New York-based company Gillin Auto Interiors, with the headrests on the front seats removed for a retro low-back bucket look.
The end result was a one-of-a-kind vehicle that combined classic styling with modern power and performance.
The Charger made its debut at the 2018 SEMA show, where it was a hit among car enthusiasts and attracted plenty of attention.
Six12 Autoworx, a New York-based company, partnered with Common Fibers, Speedkore, and Magnaflow to build a limited number of these unique vehicles.
In the following years, Six12 Autoworx built 10 of these carbon-bodied Charger throwbacks, selling another at the Mecum auction in Harrisburg, PA.
