An Instagram account with the username SF90 Le Mans has leaked some photos of the upcoming track-ready version of the Ferrari SF90 plug-on hybrid (PHEV) hypercar, ahead of its imminent reveal at 8pm this evening.
Although the Instagram user is adamant this new Ferrari will be called the SF90 Le Mans (LM), a commenter on the post who claims to have attended the launch event said this isn’t the official name.
If this hot SF90 isn’t going to be called the SF90 LM, it’s unclear what it will be named exactly.

These latest images follow almost two months after another Instagram account published spy photos of the track-ready SF90 during testing.
The hot SF90’s plug-in hybrid powertrain – comprising a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors – will reportedly be tuned to produce in excess of 1000hp (746kW).
For context, the regular SF90 produces 735kW and 800Nm, good for a 0-100km/h sprint time of just 2.5 seconds.
The latest leaked photos depict a red as well as a blue example of the track-ready SF90, whereas the previous spy images showed a white example.
All them have prominent aerodynamic elements, including a huge fixed rear wing for greater downforce.
There’s also a more prominent front splitter, as well as air vents atop the fenders, more pronounced side skirts, and a larger rear diffuser.
You won’t miss it at night, either, thanks to the full-width light bar in lieu of the standard car’s squared-off quad tail lights.
Expect changes to be made to improve both the SF90’s aerodynamic performance and reduce its weight.
The SF90 was Ferrari’s first plug-in hybrid, entering production in 2019.
It features a 7.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack and three electric motors. Two of these motors are positioned on the front axle, with the third at the rear between the engine and transmission.
