The closest most young children get to driving a car is playing with Hot Wheels toys or sitting in a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe.
Most, but seemingly not all, after an eight-year-old girl from Bedford, Ohio was busted driving herself to Target.
Behind the wheel of an SUV owned by her mother, the youngster completed the 18km journey to Target solo, reaching her destination safely.

Police were initially notified of a missing child, before multiple calls came in from motorists reporting a small child driving through the town.
Dashcam footage from one of the callers shows the young girl swerving across a multi-lane road in a white Nissan SUV.
Both the child and car were located by authorities at a Target store in nearby Bainbridge without further incident, although the guilty party fessed up to hitting a mailbox during her debut drive.
Bedford Police confirmed the incident online.
“An 8 year old took mummy’s car this morning and drove to Target in Bainbridge to shop,” read a post on Facebook.
“Thankfully she made it and was immediately located by Bainbridge Police. She’s now home safe.
“Not sure what she bought, or if she was even able to use her Target app to save 5%. We did let her finish her Frappuccino. We’re not mean.”
Talk about desperate for a shopping spree!
