Always wanted to play Uno in your car, but worried about losing the cards between the seats? BMW has come up with a solution.

In partnership with Mattel, certain BMW vehicles now feature Uno Car Party, an adapted version of the world’s most popular card game which can be played on a vehicle’s infotainment screen.

Players use their personal smartphones as controllers to play the game – which can only be activated when the car is parked – and presumably start fights with other occupants about the specific rules of Uno.

Current BMW vehicles running Operating System 8.5 include the 5 Series, 7 Series, iX, X5, X6, X7 and XM.

At present it’s only available in models which run BMW’s Operating System 8.5 and are fitted with an embedded personal eSIM, which have also recently received an over-the-air update.

AirConsole includes additional games such as “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?”, in addition to other lesser-known titles.
