Audi Australia has announced a new range of black-themed special editions across its most popular model lines, bringing both styling and equipment enhancements.
The Audi Dynamic Black range comprises limited-edition versions of the A4, A5, Q2, Q3, Q5, Q7 and Q8.
All feature a black pack-style look and a range of equipment additions, some of which not usually available as factory options.
The entire Dynamic Black range is available to order now, with vehicles now arriving in Audi Australia showrooms.
Audi A4 and A5 Dynamic Black
The Dynamic Black package will be available on the A4 Sedan and Avant, with both 35 TFSI and 45 TFSI quattro drivetrains offered depending on body style.
A4 Sedan Dynamic Black
Based on the S line grade, the A4 Dynamic Black gains 19-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels in a five-arm flag design, much like the style seen on the flagship RS4 Avant.
Metallic or pearlescent paint is standard, and there’s also the extended black exterior package which brings Audi rings in black as well as black roof rails on the A4 Avant.
Part of the Dynamic Black package for all models in the Audi range is the removal of the engine variant badging (i.e. 35 TFSI and 45 TFSI), while privacy glass further adds to the darkened theme.
Audi A4 45 TFSI quattro Dynamic Black models also feature red brake calipers, while all versions get the colour ambient light package and a black cloth headliner.
A4 Sedan Dynamic Black
The A5 Sportback Dynamic Black, meanwhile, gets larger 20-inch alloy wheels in a five twin-spoke polygon design with a partly polished anthracite black finish, as well as the extended black exterior styling package.
Red brake calipers and rear privacy glass complete the external enhancements, while inside there’s the S line interior package with fine Nappa leather S Sport front seats and massage functionality. Colour ambient lighting is also included.
Both the A4 Sedan 45 TFSI and Audi A5 Sportback 45 TFSI Dynamic Black editions are optionally available with a Carbon Package, which brings a carbon-fibre rear deck spoiler and side mirrors in place of the standard black finish.
This option also brings black Audi ring decals to the bottom half of the rear doors.
Audi Q2 and Q3 Dynamic Black
The Dynamic Black package will be available across Audi’s range of Q-badged SUV models, from Q2 to Q8.
Q7 Dynamic Black
In the smallest Q2, only the 35 TFSI will be available in Dynamic Black guise, bringing a choice of two 19-inch alloy wheel options, both finished in anthracite black.
Metallic paint, like on the special edition A4 and A5 models, is a no-cost option, while the front and rear bumpers are also finished in body colour for no extra cost.
The extended black exterior package coats the badging, front grille, mirror caps and C-pillars in black, with the C-pillars also getting contrast Audi ring graphics.
Like the Q2, the larger Q3 Dynamic Black is only available in entry-level 35 TFSI trim, though it will be offered in both SUV and Sportback body styles.
Q7 Dynamic Black
The extended black styling package is fitted, and SUV versions get black roof rails. Rear privacy glass, metallic and pearlescent paint, body-colour front and rear bumpers, as well as partly-polished grey 19-inch alloy wheels complete the exterior enhancements.
Inside, the Q3 and Q3 Sportback Dynamic Black score heated front seats with electric adjustment (including four-way lumbar support), as well as coloured ambient lighting and aluminium trim inlays.
Audi Q5 Dynamic Black
The marque’s top seller offers the Dynamic Black package across 35 TDI, 40 TDI quattro and 45 TFSI quattro engine variants, with the lattermost available in both SUV and Sportback body styles.
Q7 Dynamic Black
All versions get the extended black exterior package including Audi rings in black, 20-inch alloy wheels in five-arm design finished in matte black and partly-polished finished, as well as red brake calipers for 40 TDI and 45 TFSI versions.
The Q5 Dynamic Black range also receives colour ambient interior lighting, while the 40 TDI and 45 TFSI SUV models offer “design selection” interiors in black with contrast rock grey stitching and an extended upholstery package.
Audi Q7 and Q8 Dynamic Black
Audi’s largest SUVs also join in the Dynamic Black party.
Q8 Dynamic Black
The family-friendly Q7 Dynamic Black is exclusively available with the entry-level 45 TDI quattro grade, adding 22-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels (for the first time on the 45 TDI) which feature a five V-spoke design with diamond-turned finish.
Like the wider range of limited editions, the extended black exterior package is fitted, comprising black roof rails, wing mirrors, door sill trim highlights as well as Audi ring badges. Standard metallic paint and rear privacy glass also feature, and the colour interior ambient lighting package features inside.
The Q8 Dynamic Black is available in 50 TDI S line and 55 TFSI S line variations, riding on 22-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels in five-double-spoke design with silver and matte black finish.
Q8 Dynamic Black
Blacked-out exterior styling includes the front Singleframe grille, headlight surrounds and air intakes, as well as the Audi rings.
The side trims, wing mirrors, rear diffuser and slimline roof rails are also finished in black, contrasting with the standard metallic and pearlescent paint options.
