Audi Australia has recalled 457 examples of the e-tron GT as a defect could see the electric sedan’s brakes not work effectively.
“Due to a manufacturing issue, the front axle brake hoses may deteriorate over time. If this occurs, it could lead to a brake fluid leak resulting in reduced braking performance,” the carmaker said in its recall notice.
“A reduction in braking performance could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”
