The 2025 Toyota Tundra is now available to order in flagship Platinum guise, which will join the entry-level Limited in Australian showrooms from May.
After initially being released only in Limited guise late last year, the addition of the Platinum to the Tundra dual-cab pickup family gives Toyota an equal number of competing grades to the Ford F-150, Ram 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado.
The Tundra Limited continues to be priced from $155,990 before on-road costs, while the Platinum has arrived at a cool $172,990 plus on-roads.
That makes it $32,045 dearer than the top-spec F-150, $31,490 more expensive than the flagship Silverado, and $13,040 pricier above the most expensive Ram 1500.

The Tundra has been the slowest-selling of the four full-size US pickups so far this year, with 223 deliveries recorded to the end of March – well down on the 647 Rams 1500s, 627 Silverado 1500s and 454 Ford F-150 sold in the same period.
By offering a second variant – albeit with a higher price – Toyota will be looking to boost sales of its biggest and most expensive vehicle on sale in Australia.
