Genesis has made significant changes to combustion-powered versions of its GV70 mid-sized SUV for 2025, confirming a refresh five-variant lineup that’s accompanied by increased prices.
The range has expanded the GV70 range from three to five variants, despite the axing of a rear-wheel drive entry grade.
Instead, the range now comprises three trim levels – Advanced, Signature, and Signature Sport – with a choice of turbocharged four- and six-cylinder all-wheel drive powertrains.

The Advanced starts at $78,500 before on-road costs, marking an $8000 premium over the 2024 rear-wheel drive base model, and $5600 more than the previous entry all-wheel drive variant.
Mid-spec 2.5T grades are priced similarly to the 2024 AWD Sport flagship, while 2025 3.5T variants wear sticker prices of $98,000 before on-road costs (Signature) and $100,000 (Signature Sport) plus on-roads.
Updates across the GV70 range include the addition of a 27-inch OLED infotainment and instrument display, an upgraded suite of safety features, refreshed exterior styling, and chassis, suspension and NVH refinements, plus new colour options.
The base rear-wheel drive GV70 has been cut from the lineup, driving the cost of entry up by $8000.
At the bottom of the restructured range sits the Advanced, which starts at $78,500 before on-road costs, which is $5600 more than the entry-level AWD variant it replaces.
The cheapest V6 variant now costs $98,000, marking an increase of nearly $14,000 over the outgoing GV70 Sport.
