The Ford Ranger will enter 2025 with minor equipment changes affecting almost every variant of the ute, but no price increases.
Due to enter production this month, first deliveries of what Ford calls the ‘2025.25MY’ Ranger are expected in the coming months, with all variants bar the entry-level XL scoring a 400W power inverter.
As first reported by CarExpert in September, it’ll be the first time the Ranger has been fitted with a socket inside its cabin, and in the tray for pickup examples, since the new-generation model arrived in 2022.
The Ford Ranger lineup continues to starts at $36,880 before on-road costs for the XL single cab-chassis 4×2, though the base grade and the step-up XLS now get an acoustic windscreen in a bid to reduce road noise.

There will, however, be some equipment omissions for 2025, with the Wildtrak, Platinum and Raptor losing their automated parking assist feature.
Ford Australia says there will be “minor changes to interior trim and appearance across the range”, which for the flagship performance Raptor includes the addition of steering wheel buttons to answer and hang up phone calls.
After becoming Australia’s best-selling new vehicle last year, the Ranger has continued its momentum through 2024, with 48,362 examples delivered to customers between January and September – still keeping it ahead of the Toyota HiLux.
