Bentley is teasing us with images and engine details on the 2025 Bentley Continental ahead of its reveal in June this year.

Gone is the 12-cylinder W12 and in its place is a plug-in hybrid V8 engine that boasts a combined power output of 575kW of power and 1000Nm of torque, making it one of the most explosive options in the segment.

According to Bentley, it’ll be able to travel around 80km on a fully charged battery and emit under 50g/km of CO2.

While the British brand hasn’t confirmed battery size, they have confirmed it’ll be a 48V system (likely to support engine start functions) and come with features like four-wheel steering, dual-valve dampers, a limited slip differential, torque vectoring and all-wheel drive.

The brand also hasn’t confirmed the weight penalty, but expect it to grow in weight given all the extra components required to offer 80km of driving range.

New Conti sounds tough 💪🏻 iPhone mic isn’t very good, but this new drivetrain replaces the W12 in the Continental Speed.

The new Continental is expected to be fully revealed in June with a start of production date still unknown.

CarExpert had a chance to drive the car and also see the final product (sans camouflage). Keep an eye out for that content later in May and closer to the car’s reveal in June.
