Subaru Australia has detailed pricing and indicative specifications of its all-electric Solterra crossover ahead of order books opening on November 8.
Customer deliveries will commence before the end of the year.
The local Subaru Solterra range starts at $77,990 before on-roads for the entry-level AWD variant, and extends to $83,690 before on-roads for the AWD Touring.
As previously detailed, the Australian-specification Solterra range is only available with a dual-motor all-wheel drive setup producing 160kW and 337Nm.
The related Toyota bZ4X, which recently received a running change, is set to launch locally in February 2024 and is available in other markets with a single-motor setup. If this single-motor variant comes to Australia it will likely undercut the dual-motor Solterra.
Included in the manufacturer’s list price for the Australian-specification Solterra is a 60-month/75,000km service plan, five years of roadside assistance, carpet mats, a cargo tray, as well as a 2kW AC charging cable with 8 amp wall plug.
A “limited volume” of the Solterra will be available to pre-order on November 8. In order to place an order you’ll need to visit a Subaru dealer or go on the Subaru Australia website.
All prices are before on-road costs

This makes it slightly longer and wider than a Forester. Ground clearance is 210mm, or 10mm less than a Forester, while kerb weight ranges between 1930kg and 2020kg.
