If you want to haul big loads, the Ram 3500 is the American brand’s most capable pickup truck.
Ram is currently offering MY23 versions of the 3500 in showrooms, but has flagged the MY24 versions will differ only through the addition of a tailgate ajar warning light. We’ll update this article when MY24 pricing becomes available.
Just one variant of the 3500 is offered in Australia, priced at $177,950 before on-road costs.
The differences between the Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 include leaf-spring rear suspension and an 873kg increase to the payload. There’s also no option of Ram Box storage compartments for the tub.
Like the 1500 and 2500, the 3500 is imported by Ateco and remanufactured to right-hand drive by Walkinshaw, which also converts the Chevrolet Silverado and Silverado HD and Toyota Tundra.
