The updated Porsche Taycan range has landed in Australia, priced from $175,100 plus on-road costs.

UPDATE, 13/11/24: Porsche has announced the Taycan 4 sedan and Taycan GTS for the updated lineup. They’re due in the first half of 2025, and our original article from August has been updated accordingly.

As before, there are Taycan and Taycan Cross Turismo derivatives on offer, and while visual updates may be subtle there are myriad mechanical tweaks under the skin.

Headline changes include more power and performance thanks to a new rear-axle motor and revised battery system, as well as faster DC charging and longer driving range – the latter courtesy of aerodynamic improvements as well as efficiency gains throughout the drivetrain and battery.

There’s more standard equipment too, including ambient lighting, a heat pump with new cooling system, wireless phone charging, adaptive air suspension, and the Drive Mode switch on the steering wheel.

New Turbonite badging and accents also adorn Turbo and Turbo S models.
