This is the most expensive electric Mercedes ever sold in Australia: a Maybach-badged, leather-upholstered and tech-heavy SUV.
The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV is the most expensive electric vehicle (EV) ever sold by Mercedes-Benz in Australia, and is the first battery-powered model from its ultra-luxury division.
Priced from $328,607 before on-road costs, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV’s sticker is higher than the $328,400 list price the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 debuted with in 2021.
It’s also almost $134,000 more than the Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 SUV, which currently serves as the only offering of the nameplate in Australia and starts from $194,900 before on-road costs.
So what extra equipment do you get for the price of an EQE? In short, a lot.
More power, more torque, greater driving range and a plethora of luxury-focused features are fitted to Maybach’s EQS SUV, as is to be expected from the luxury arm of Mercedes.
The 2024 Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV is now available to order.
