    2024 Mercedes-Benz C 200 Night Edition priced for Australia

The Mercedes-Benz C200 Night Edition is the cheapest C-Class in Australia, but it’s $8000 dearer than when the current model arrived in 2022.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class now has nationwide drive-away pricing, but just for one variant and only until the end of the financial year.

The Mercedes-Benz C 200 Night Edition has joined the lineup as the new entry-level grade, priced from $86,900 before on-road costs or $89,900 drive-away across the country.

However, the nationwide drive-away price only applies to vehicles ordered from today (April 12) until June 30, with delivery required by July 31.

This represents a saving of about $4500 to $6000 compared to the drive-away prices of the existing Mercedes-Benz C 200, but its list price is $8000 more than when the current-generation C-Class launched in 2022.

Compared to the car upon which it’s based, the C 200 Night Edition gains a gloss black grille, belt line trim strip, window trim, mirror caps and AMG-style front and rear bumper aprons.

The Night Edition also steps up to 19-inch, five-twin-spoke alloy wheels from the standard 18-inch alloys.

Inside, there’s a Burmester 3D premium surround sound system, as well as insulated acoustic glass for the windscreen and front side windows.

As on the regular C 200, there’s also standard Artico faux-leather upholstery, a 11.9-inch infotainment touchscreen (with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, and keyless entry and start.

The C 200 Night Edition is also fitted with safety features such as 10 airbags (including a centre-front airbag), autonomous emergency braking (with pedestrian and cyclist detection), a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring and speed limit assist, among others.

Powering the Mercedes-Benz C 200 Night Edition is a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with 48-volt mild-hybrid assistance, producing 150kW of power and 300Nm of torque.

Drive is sent to the rear wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission.

You can pre-order the Mercedes-Benz C 200 Night Edition from today via the Mercedes-Benz Australia website.
