    2024 Audi A1 price and specs

    The 2024 Audi A1 has received a minor price increase, alongside safety equipment upgrades for all members of the range.

    The Audi A1 has been upgraded with a number of safety features for 2024, corresponding with price increases of between $1950 to $2350.

    The second generation of Audi’s smallest car arrived in Australia in 2020, with minimal updates applied to the hatchback in the ensuing years.

    The entry-level Audi A1 30 TFSI starts at $36,200 plus on-road costs, while the mid-range A1 35 TFSI and flagship A1 40 TFSI S Line are priced from $39,200 and $50,800 respectively.

    The 2024 Audi A1 is now in Australian showrooms.

    Pricing

    • 2024 Audi A1 30 TFSI: $36,200 (+$1950)
    • 2024 Audi A1 35 TFSI: $39,200 (+$2350)
    • 2024 Audi A1 40 TFSI S Line: $50,800 (+$1950)

    All prices exclude on-road costs and are compared to MY23 pricing.

    Drivetrains

    All Audi A1 variants are front-wheel-drive, though the three grades are powered by completely different engines.

    The base Audi A1 30 has a turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, developing 85kW of power and 200Nm of torque, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

    Audi’s mid-range A1 35 steps up to a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 110kW and 250Nm, also mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch auto.

    The flagship A1 40 gains a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, pushing out 147kW and 320Nm, driving the front wheels through a six-speed dual-clutch auto.

    Efficiency

    The 2024 Audi A1 30 uses 5.4L/100km on the combined cycle, while the A1 35 uses 5.3L/100km and the A1 40 uses 6.3L/100km.

    All models use 95 RON premium unleaded fuel and have a 40L fuel tank.

    Dimensions

    The 2024 Audi A1 measures 4041mm long, 1740mm wide, and 1425mm tall on a 2555mm wheelbase.

    Weight varies between the different models, with the A1 30 starting at 1235kg, the A1 35 growing to 1260kg and the flagship A1 40 S Line tips the scales at 1330kg.

    Servicing and Warranty

    All Audis sold in Australia are covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.

    A $3030 ‘Audi Advantage’ package can be purchased for the A1, which includes two years of capped-price servicing and roadside assistance, plus an additional two-year warranty coverage.

    Safety

    The Audi A1 was awarded a five-star ANCAP safety rating in 2019, and gained a number of equipment upgrades for 2024.

    Its safety suite system includes:

    • Blind-spot monitoring (NEW)

    The Assistance package ($350, A1 30 and 35 only) adds:

    • Semi-automatic parking assist
    • Automatic high-beam

    The Style package ($2890, A1 30 and 35 only) adds:

    • LED headlights
    • LED tail lights with dynamic indicators
    • 17-inch five spoke alloy wheels (A1 30 only) or five-spoke ‘Y’ alloys (both)
    • 18-inch Audi Sport seven-spoke ‘Rotor’ wheels (A1 35 only)

    The Technik package ($3200, A1 35 only) adds:

    • 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with 3D navigation, media information
    • 10.1-inch infotainment screen with navigation, 3D maps
    • Wireless Apple CarPlay
    • Eight-speaker 180-watt sound system
    • Luggage compartment loading floor and luggage net

    The Premium Plus package ($3150, A1 40 only) adds:

    • Sonos 11-speaker, 560-watt sound system

    The Black exterior styling package ($790, A1 40 only) adds:

    • Black grille, front and rear bumper highlights

    Standalone options include:

    • Cloth sports seats (A1 35): $500
    • Twin leather sports seats: $1850 for A1 35, $1500 for A1 40
    • 18-inch Audi Sport seven-spoke ‘Rotor’ wheels (A1 40): $1100
    • Black contrast roof, black mirrors and front lip spoiler: $890
    • Three-stage heated front seats: $550

    Colours

    Cortina White is standard, with the following metallic finishes costing an extra $990:
