The 2023 Hyundai Palisade has been leaked through a YouTube thumbnail accidentally attached to the brand’s live stream placeholder.
First published by KoreanCarBlog, the single image – which has since been removed – shows the redesigned front end of the new Palisade as well as the new alloy wheel design. It’s understood the vehicle displayed is a high-spec model.
As previewed by Hyundai’s official teasers, the new Palisade sports a more upright and squared-off look up front with a revised grille, new bumper, and rejigged LED lighting. The version displayed also has contrast accents on the lower front bumper and side skirts, as opposed to the current model’s black plastic or body-colour finish depending on grade

CarExpert understands the facelifted Palisade will carry over the 3.8-litre V6 petrol and 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engines currently available. It’s unclear at this stage whether the New York motor show reveal on April 13 will involve some sort of electrification for global markets.
Pricing for the current range kicks off at $55,700 plus on-road costs for the entry-level Palisade V6 FWD and tops out at $75,700 before on-roads for the flagship Palisade Highlander Diesel AWD. We expect the updated version to stay close to the current range.
The facelifted Palisade will be joined in New York by the refreshed Kia Telluride, its twin under the skin.
Unfortunately for Australia, the Telluride’s exclusively US production means it’s off the cards for our market. Unlike the Telluride, the Hyundai Palisade is produced in South Korea for export markets, at the same Ulsan facility as the Santa Fe, Tucson, and Genesis GV80.

Further details about the 2023 Palisade will be released when the updated SUV is revealed at the 2022 New York Auto Show on April 13, North American time.
