Maxliner Australia is the latest accessory company to roll out a range of add-ons for the new-generation Ford Ranger to compete against the factory-backed ARB accessories.
The company has shown off its first wave of accessories for the new Ranger which are now available to pre-order from Maxliner distributors, stockists and the website.
It says local arrivals will begin this month.
Maxliner Australia is a subsidiary of Thai plastic packaging, thermal insulation and automotive accessory giant Vandapac Co. Ltd. and has been producing “OEM quality vehicle accessories” for over thirty years.
This initial product range for the new Ford Ranger includes canopies, hard tub lids, bed liners, floor liners, side steps, wheel arch extenders and door mouldings.
More accessories, including a Maxbox storage system, tailgate assist, and weather shields, will be coming in the third quarter of 2022.
Maxliner Australia says all its new-generation Ranger accessories are designed “using the latest R&D processes” at its production facility in Thailand.
The design process is said to include “modern scanning tools, CAD design, and actual vehicle fitment trials”.
All Maxliner Australia accessories are “tested with stringent engineering procedures” before being released to the public in order to provide “optimal performance and longevity”.
As previously reported, Ford’s partnership with ARB sees it offer a range of factory-backed accessories for the new Ranger under its Ford Licensed Accessories Program.
These ARB-branded accessories are covered by the same five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty as the ute itself, provided they’re purchased and fitted through Ford dealerships.
Maxliner accessories aren’t covered under this same agreement with Ford and have warranty lengths varying from two years to “lifetime”, depending on the product.
All the prices detailed below exclude fitment and shipping.

Ford dealers will take delivery of around 10,000 new-generation Rangers across Australia during July and August.
The company had taken about 17,000 new Ranger orders as of a month ago and, while it hasn’t provided an updated figure today, it’s clear the order intake and wait list has grown even greater.
