2021 Skoda Fabia price and specs

Skoda is getting ready to farewell the current Fabia.

A new model will be in Australia within the next 12 months, but in the meantime Skoda is farewelling the current car with a Run-Out Edition.

Offered in base 70kW guise with a five-speed manual and with an 81kW engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Run-Out Edition will be the only Fabia model offered throughout 2021.

Compared to the 2020 model, the Run-Out rides on black alloy wheels and a sport suspension, and has unique trim highlights to boot.

There’s a smattering of 2020 models kicking around at Skoda Australia dealers, but the car you see here will carry the torch from how on.

Engines

Power in the Fabia with a five-speed manual transmission comes from a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with 70kW and 160Nm.

The seven-speed dual-clutch model has a version of the same engine making 81kW of power and 200Nm of torque.

Fuel Economy

The five-speed manual Skoda Fabia Run-Out Edition uses a claimed 4.5L/100km on the combined cycle.

The seven-speed DSG uses 4.7L/100km on the combined cycle.

Dimensions

The 2021 Skoda Fabia hatchback measures 3997mm long, 1732mm wide and 1467mm tall, with a 2470mm wheelbase.

The wagon measures 4262mm long, but shares its other dimensions with the hatchback.

Servicing and Warranty

Maintenance in the Fabia is required every 12 months or 15,000km.

A three-year prepaid service pack costs $750, and a five-year package costs $1350.

Safety

The Fabia has a five-star ANCAP safety rating based on testing carried out in 2015.

It has the following active safety equipment standard atop its six airbags:
