The revised Bentley Bentayga has been unveiled, with a new looking that brings the crossover’s styling into line with the latest Continental and Flying Spur ranges.

At the front there are new oval matrix LED headlights with crystalline detailing, a larger grille, and a more aggressively styled bumper.

In addition to this there’s a new set of front fenders with larger flying B vents now placed above the shoulder line, as well as a new bonnet.

Each heated wiper for the front windscreen features 22 integrated washer jets. New look 22-inch rims have been added to Bentayga’s roster of available alloy wheels.

Out the back there’s a larger clamshell-style tailgate with stretched-out oval LED tail-lights, as well as revised bumpers that now incorporate the licence plate holder.

A 20mm wider rear track is said to improve the car’s stance and handling.

Inside there have been revisions to the dashboard, including rectangular centre air vents, to accommodate a larger 10.9-inch capacitive touchscreen infotainment system which supports Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay.

Other changes include redesigned door trims and steering wheel, and the addition of USB-C ports, wireless smartphone charging, and a customisable digital instrumentation display.

New seats are said to improve leg room by up to 100mm in four-seat variants. The Bentayga can also be ordered in five- or seven-seat layouts.

The remote control tablet used by rear seat passengers has been upgraded to include a larger touchscreen.

New Bentaygas are also fitted with a built-in SIM card, meaning the vehicle’s various online services can be accessed without tethering a mobile phone first.

At launch the facelifted Bentayga will be available with an unchanged 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 boasting 404kW and 770Nm. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.

Top speed is said to be 290km/h, and the 0-100km/h dash can be completed in 4.5 seconds.

The plug-in hybrid and W12 Speed models will be revealed later this year.
