Nissan Australia has recalled the 2020 Juke to replace a label on its jack.

“The jack label does not include the required safety markings showing the model or model designations of vehicles for the jack’s intended use (clause 7.1.2(b)). The jack is not labelled as being for the F16 Juke,” Nissan Australia said in its recall notice.

“The jack must not be used with vehicles other than the F16 Juke and absence of model designation may result in inappropriate use of the jack. Use with inappropriate vehicles may lead to a serious accident or death of a user if a vehicle collapses on them.”

    • A total of 299 vehicles are included in the recall.
    • Affected vehicles were sold between May 20 and September 2, 2020.
    • A VIN list is attached here.
    • The original recall notice is attached here.

Nissan will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
