Mercedes-Benz is recalling the 2020 A-Class due to a faulty rear right seatbelt bracket.
“The right rear seat’s belt bracket, used for fastening the child seat to the ISOFIX holder, may be missing. In this case, the child seat will not be securely fastened and attached to correct specification,” Mercedes-Benz says in its recall notice.
“If the seat is not securely fastened, the child may not be adequately restrained in their seat, which may result in serious injury or death to the child, in the event of an accident.”
- A total of 22 vehicles are affected by the recall
- Affected cars were sold between 1 September, 2020 and 26 November, 2020

Owners of these affected vehicles are requested to contact their local Mercedes-Benz dealer in order to organise a free fix.
