Ford’s all-new competitor to the Kia Seltos, Toyota C-HR and Volkswagen T-Cross is due later this month priced from $31,990 drive-away.
The national drive-away pricing offer is available across the three-tier line-up:
- Puma – $29,990 ($31,990 drive-away)
- Puma ST-Line – $32,340 ($33,990 drive-away)
- Puma ST-Line V – $35,540 ($36,990 drive-away)
Ford’s drive-away pricing is in line with most mid- to high-spec versions of rival models, notably the Volkswagen T-Cross – currently advertised from $29,990 drive-away in base 85TSI Life guise and $32,990 in higher-grade 85TSI Style form.
Meanwhile, the popular Kia Seltos is $31,490 drive-away for a mid-spec Sport with Safety Pack and tops out at $42,990 drive-away for the flagship GT-Line.
In addition to the introductory drive-away price offers, Ford Australia is introducing virtual ‘Desk Drives’ where the company and its dealership network will host Facebook live events allowing prospective buyers to get a taste of the Puma from the comfort of their own home.
Customers who take up an in-person test drive of the new Puma and go on to purchase a vehicle will receive a $500 bonus, which increases to $1000 for existing Ford owners.

First deliveries are due late in September, with all models featuring autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, an 8.0-inch Sync 3 navigation system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as the FordPass Connect embedded modem with net-based remote vehicle functions.

Like the wider Ford Australia line-up, the Puma is covered by the Blue Oval’s five-year, unlimited-kilometre factory warranty with Ford Service Benefits.
Perks of the latter include a complimentary service loan car, auto club membership with roadside assistance, Sync 3 satellite navigation map updates, and the first four years/60,000km of scheduled maintenance priced at $299 per visit – totalling $1196 for the first 48 months/60,000km.
