2022 BMW XM

BMW has started mass production of its XM performance SUV in the US ahead of it arriving locally in the first half of 2023.

The flagship version of BMW M's new flagship has been leaked early, with the XM Label Red 500kW PHEV breaking cover on the brand's website.

The BMW XM packs a twin-turbocharged V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain, with a Label Red flagship bumping outputs to 550kW and 1000Nm.

The BMW XM is the high-performance division's first SUV designed from scratch and will be revealed on September 27.
