About Sean
Sean Lander grew up on a cattle farm in rural Australia, sparking a lifelong love of engines. After early stints in film and television, he worked in car dealerships across multiple roles before returning to his passion of film making, where he found YouTube was an outlet to combine his love of cars and video.
In 2018 he moved to Melbourne to join Bauer Media, producing video for Wheels, Motor, and other motoring titles, before joining CarExpert in 2021. Since then he has helped grow the CarExpert YouTube channel from 150,000 subscribers to become Australia’s biggest new car channel.
Outside work, Sean can often be found at racetracks or rally stages filming fast cars – or occasionally in the cockpit of a plane, both as a passenger and aspiring pilot.
